Google Earth mapping of Views from the Frontline survey 6/09

This mapping enables you to view the overall assessments of progress on the Hyogo Framework for Action priorities from 33 countries who were able to submit data by the report deadline. Clicking on a country provides the numeric assessment for that country on a scale from 1-5. We would be very grateful for feedback on whether this method of presentation is informative. We also welcome suggestions for extending this visual approach to presenting data.

We are sorry that Google Geo Challenge have now elected to withdraw funding for external projects such as this. We would welcome support and technical input in developing this mapping further.
