Resource Mobilisation
The Network has as a goal the mobilisation of communities to bring social demand to bear on the Disaster Risk Reduction process. What that means is enabling communities to become active in the process. The network is developing a strategic plan for the use of new communications channels to achieve this, which is depicted below:-
The first stage in this plan is building collaborative capability through the Views from the Frontline programme. At the same time we are building partnerships with organisations and communications experts to start to form the communications links right out to the frontline to enable communities to become an active part of the process.
